Blood or Tears?Screaming would feel good right now.
Trapped in an ineffectual existence
Where the only people I talk to
Might as well not even exist,
I want out.
Screaming would release the tension.
Or maybe something deeper,
More primal?
Like the sight of blood
Spilling down my arms.
Of the sudden inexplicable pain
Carved into my flesh.
Yeah.
Screams and blood
Are better than these pointless tears.
Who the hell decided to make
TEARS
More acceptable than
BLOOD?
To make
SCARS
Taboo?
If I screamed though,
I'd be reprimanded.
"Don't scare us"
"Nothing's really wrong"
Yeah…
So it's nix on the screaming.
But surely a little blood

Night's KissShe's in love with the night

Touching the moon and the stars

With her tears.

Lost in the darkness

Lost forever in a world of night

Forgotten by those who once loved her

A child of the night.

And his kissing her tears away with

Bloody lips.

It's the ApocalypseRed sensors rotated and his gears resonated within him.
He could hear the mass silence that echoed endlessly;
no wind wafting through trees or horns blaring…

- only ghosts.

He sensed the crunch of metal and rust grinding
and the clank of disused limbs popping into place.
The mechanics of his body had forgotten basic processes…

- and he felt ancient.

Saved recordings worked through his hard-drive like memories
reminding him of times with oceans of cities, flocks of humans,
and towers so tall he could stand next to them and be called…

The lenses of his eyes fluttered and a new world was upon him;
the sun

CreedDo not tremble when you speak his name.
Do not grasp at crumbs like a starving stray.
Do not be fazed by the weepies.
If you allow others in,
Do not allow them to be harmed by your darkness.
Do not forget you are not the only you.
Be stronger than the ones who came before.
Stand on your own.
Stare down adversity and triumph.
Do not fear vanishing.
Do not seek to disappear.
If you cry,
Remember to wash tears away and smile.
Even when you are alone,
Seek the strength to persevere.
Do not give in.
Do not give up.
Accept things with grace and dignity-
Except defeat.
Never accept defeat.
Fight until you win,
Even when it hurts

Best Served ColdOn the menu tonight,
You'll find my heart.
Would you like it served
With a poison dart?

Perhaps you'll enjoy it
On a silver platter
Eat it bit by bit.
Delicious? Don't flatter.

Would you like it
Hot or spicy,
Or bitter or sweet?
Grilled or roasted,
Fit to eat?

Go ahead, just ask, be bold...

It's best served cold.

Or I wasn't.
Either seemed more probable than
Some like you and someone like me
Actually being together.

The Dwarf and The Ring WraithThe creature was late.

Checking the position of the sun in the sky, Pacsa heaved in a great lungfull of pipe weed through his pipe before looking back at the entrance to the village. Instead, the old dwarf let the gentle rays of the sun beat down upon his cheeks, savouring the silence, knowing that soon, everything would change. He had arrived in the sleepy little village not long ago and seeing the bustle of smiling townsfolk, Pacsa felt a momentary pang of guilt, knowing that very soon, their peaceful existence would be jarred completely. The dwarf took no comfort in the thought, but it couldn't be helped. Soon he would come.

Fall from my lips.
Dazzling words of misdirection,
All on display to HIDE
The fact that there are pieces
MISSING.
That there is a darkness within
That DEVOURS.
Of course I can Love.

Nice

Clever and interesting, well laid out. I only have one niggle - the 'steel and ice' and 'blades and blood' images, whilst I realise you are trying to portray horror, don't really work for me, they feel a little weaker than the rest of the poem - maybe use something that suggests horror in a more subtle way?

Other than that it's a really good poem, thank you!
